INTRODUCTION
PARK is a leading consultancy in the area of Design Management & Leadership, with offices in Hamburg and Santa Monica. For more than 20 years, we have been supporting design, brand and business leaders. We increase the value of design for organisations by further building design competence and capabilities. With Grow, we educate tomorrow’s design leaders through a blend of practical learning modules driven by our consultants, and all supported by cutting-edge content and an advanced online system.

We are looking for an exceptional new member to be part of our team in Hamburg as soon as possible. You will be mainly working on PARK content but might input and feedback into Grow content as well. The minimum duration of an internship at PARK is 6 months. Due to the complexity of the job, longer stays are welcome.

JOB PURPOSE
The main purpose of your role as an intern at PARK will be to support the PARK consultants in their daily job, ranging from client projects to internal initiatives for our own business. This requires you to create and manage content based on specific guidelines and briefings of consultants. By joining multiple projects and collaborating with different people inside and outside our team, we encourage you to find your own individual spot to grow further in the four areas of our Design Management & Leadership framework:

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Turn verbal input from consultants into high quality and comprehensive visual material for our clients (e.g. post- ers, presentations, workshop output etc.)
Perform administrative project management tasks - up to taking over smaller communication with clients,/li>
Conducting Design Management & Leadership research and benchmarks
Support the team with marketing and acquisition activities
Create internal and external material (e.g. acquisition material or project summaries)
Actively attending and preparing PARK meetings and team buildings
SKILLS, COMPETENCIES & BEHAVIOUR

Strong visualization skills: Ability to pack thoughts and ideas into visually appealing and comprehensive presentations.
Strong communicator: Be able and enthusiastic to articulate your ideas, feelings and thoughts in a constructive and respectful way (that also means to challenge us in projects or our daily routine)
Problem solver: Be a true optimist with a hands on ‘can-do’ attitude.
Adaptable: Act as a versatile and flexible individual who likes to take different roles and evolving responsibilities in our team.
Structured & self-organized: That means you can independently manage multiple & fast changing projects with care and an attention to details.
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
Excellent English in writing and speaking
Broad understanding of design disciplines and terminology
Familiar with design and innovation process as well as various design methodologies and tools
First experience or strong interest in the area of business/strategic design and design management
Adept in using the Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
Good organizational and project management skills
Basic skills or the willingness to get familiar with data and knowledge visualization
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
We look for a bachelor or master graduate or undergraduate in Industrial Design (or related), Design Strategy or Design Management. Also studies such as Innovation Management are welcome but require a strong understand- ing of design. Working experience is a must have but doesn’t have to be design related.
